This is NOT a bad thing! Every nursing home needs to be surveyed so that they are giving the best possible care and the residents are receiving the best possible care.
Unfortunately preparing can be exhausting because you are constantly checking and rechecking not only your job but everyone else's as well. Instead of this being spread out, it is crammed into a couple of weeks.
I can't wait for them to come and go so I can vacation for real!
