"Your guess is as good as mine.  What were you thinking about?"  His question made her flush.

"I don't know."  That was a lie.  She knew exactly what she was thinking about.  She was thinking about him strolling towards her.  Throwing her up against the wall and taking ehr the way she ahd been craving  since the first time she had seen him.  She would forever be grateful he didn't have his hand on Chance while her thoughts were uncontrollable like that.

"Think.  We have to know what it was going through your mind at the moment you blasted that energy through us both."

"I did what?"

"I'm really not sure.  Your skin was on fire and the next thing I know I was waking up with a killer headache and you were still passed out burning up with fever."

"Fever?"  She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.  What did the fever have to do with anything, all she wanted was for him to touch her.

"Yeah.  You're still burning up."  It was then that she felt a cool breeze and looked down at herself.  She lay on her bed wearing nothing under the coolness of a sheet.

"Did you undress me?"  Anger flowed through her veins.
