Hopefully we will get them out for you to enjoy while you huddle inside by the fire. Have a Great Holiday!

Swept Away:The First Bloodline

Finishing up your Christmas shopping? Swept Away:The First Bloodline available in paperback on Amazon. Would make a great present!

December rush.

What a great year. We have worked hard this year but have loved every minute of it. Finishing this year with Crystal working to get Love swept finished so we can all find out how she could just kill me off like she did. I am working on a new series Men Of Firehouse 44 with assistance from Crystal when I can tear her away from her own book. I really couldn't do this without her.

Biggest Loser

I can't wait for Tuesday night to get here. I love the biggest loser. I always think it will inspire me. Hopefully this season will be the one.

Books vs TV

ok I just what to vent to someone and you guys are the only ones still up. Damn Crystal sleeping lol. Anyway here I sit watching TV and bam the channel changes. Bless his heart my husband worked nightshift last night so he went to bed. But apparently he hasn't seen every single Perry Mason show there is. So he set the DVR to record it along with another show so the show I was watching is no longer on. My point is Books are better. Can't just be changed on you. lol Guess I'll pull up an ebook and enjoy.

Awesome Sister

I have to say that although Liz has made me out to be a superwoman, I don't compare to her.  Yes I write more, but I don't have the daily struggles with pain, and other things that she does.  Don't let her full you, yes she may have been laying on the couch, but I bet her mind was going a mile a minute.  The only thing I have that she doesn't is typing speed.  I admit my fingers are fast, but her mind is better!  She has always stood behind me, whether it be during nursing school, a divorce, parenting and now writing she has always been there!  Love you!

Love Swept: The First Bloodline

Working hard and I have to say I am more excited with this one then I was with Swept Away.  Loving it!

One sided duo

I must say Crystal is working hard. Has full-time day job, 2 young children, and still finds time to get in a few thousand words each day. Myself(Liz) currently laying on couch looking at screen with one eye shut. Have had a terrible headache all weekend. Possibly a trip to dr tomorrow. Took pain medicine earlier but can feel it getting stronger. Anyone have suggestions? She just texted me her word length and she is incredible. Wish I was as quick. Anyway gotta go and call her. Have a good night!!

Amazon Ebooks

I always thought that if I could just write and publish the next great book I would have everything I ever wanted. To see my name on a book how awesome is that? Getting published the traditional way is close to impossible. Then one day Crystal told me how she was going to self-publish books, and I thought 'wow, I can do that.' Guess what? It's still not easy. we spend a lot of hours writing and rewriting. Trying to make sure we don't have silly mistakes in books. When we finally think we are there we publish and sit back and wait. I think there have been times when we waited a whole day. But soon we are drawn back to the computer. Sometimes by ourselves other times together. But still writing. Knowing that thanks to Amazon and self-publishing somebody somewhere will be reading out books. We can only hope they like them enough to type in our names next time they look for a new book. So all of you that have read or will read a self-published book We say thanks for giving them a try.

Rough Ryder review from Goodreads

filter | sort: default (?) | rating details Micah Aug 16, 2013 Micah rated it 5 of 5 stars So once again Ms. Smith has done a wonderful job. I haven't been able to find anything her sister has written independently, but I have to give her two thumbs up as well. This was hot. I prefer to read full length novels and this is a short read. However I wasn't disappointed in the least. If you want some steamy action and a great story I recommend this one. I do warn you, there must be plans for more because it leaves you with a hanger. I will be looking for a site where I can find their futur...more flag like · see review Laura Aug 19, 2013 Laura rated it 5 of 5 stars Karen Gonzales

First day of school tomorrow

I'm so excited but scared. Johnny goes to school tomorrow and rides a big bus. I think I will probably be in the car behind the bus.

Happy Birthday To Johnny

It sure doesn't seem like its been 3 years since I watched him come into this world.   But I sure cant imagine life without him.

She did it again!!!

Here I sit minding my own business and what happens? My phone chimes letting me know I have a knew email. Hmmmm wander what it is? CRYSTAL!!!! Another story! Well OK what the heck? But that is all you are getting from me. No more hints till its finished. LOL

Writing

When I pick up a good book I don't even think of all the time and energy the person that created it put into it. Which is how it is suppose to be. I sit back with a glass of Pepsi and enjoy being transported to another place. Now that I am writing with Crystal I see all the work that goes into it; but I still love it because even in writing we are taken some place else, become someone else. I hope you all are enjoying our stories. Let us know what you like or don't like.

RESTLESS LEGS

Really bad night with restless legs led to clean kitchen and new ideas for new books. There is only so much walking around house in the middle of night. But at least Crystal was up too. I would say having sympathy pains for me but actually she was busy getting Swept Away: The First Bloodline ready to go to print. Hope everyone is enjoying these first few days of quiet with Kids all back to school. Hmmm What to do with all that time? Here is an idea. Get a good book for your Kindle or Nook. But what to read? I've heard that Swept Away: The First Bloodline is a really good book. Or if you're looking for shorter reads I Would recommend Rough Ryder, A Strangers touch, Southern Romance, Seducing Peaches or The Together series (Together by Chance, Together in Lust, Together Forever.

ADULT CONTENT! Swept Away The First Bloodline preview

"I want to see your eyes." She pleaded with him. She wanted to see the pleasure that he was now feeling. She wanted to see a reflection of her own desire in his eyes. His head dropped, his eyes opened and she couldn't believe what she was seeing. There was no way. She wasn't seeing this. She tried to back out from underneath him but he held her in place. She gave it everything she had to move him, but he didn't budge and it didn't appear that he was having any problems keeping her beneath them. www.amazon.com Today is the last free day this book will offer!

School Starting

I can remember not being able to wait for school to start after a long summer. I don't think anything has changed even tho my kids are grown I still can't wait so that the grand kids can go. I love them all to death but for their parents I know its a breather during the day. Besides that the kids love going. Interacting with other children is so important for them. And they learn so quickly. Oh Yeah just so everyone knows Crystal took her little girl for her first day of school and of coarse cried. lol I can just hear Ashley telling her it will be ok. Anyone have funny first day of school stories to share? Liz

CNA Appreciation is not shown enough!

As you know both my sister and I are LPN's. Both of us started as a CNA and we continue to appreciate CNA's everywhere. From us to you. Only A Cna? © Dawn Mazzola Who are you to refer to us, As "Only" a CNA? We're the ones who wash and dress, Our patients for the day. We're the ones who take the time, To listen to them speak. We listen about their lifetime, In a forty hour week. We also give our hands to hold, When someone's feeling scared. It's not easy being a patient, You're never quite prepared. We take the time to listen, By lending both our ears. We listen to their worries, Or how they've spent their years. Our arms were made to reach, And even wrap around. To give our patients hugs, When their feeling a little down. We help our patients do the things, They used to do on their own. Everybody needs some help, Even when we're grown. So who are you to refer to us, As "only" a CNA? We do our best to meet their needs, Within our working day. We chose to do this job, The job did not choose us. We sympathize and empathize, Compassion is a must. We try to keep them comfortable, And free of any fear. We sit along beside them, When that time is near. We hold their hand, stroke their hair, Just making sure they know. Their not alone, an aide is there, It's ok for them to go. To all the CNA's keep your head held high, We're not "only" CNA's. WE'RE ANGEL'S IN DISGUISE!!

Bad reviews vs Hormones

Ok so Seducing Peaches is having some.  I don't understand them but ok.  The last one I read really hurt, as my hormones unleashed, I began crying.  I talked with my sister Liz, nothing helped. My daughter who is 5 came in and must have been listening to everything because she said " it's ok Mom.  I love You."  Then walked back out.  That was all it took.

His Primary Desire by Kylie Jack

Wonderful read.  I don't understand where her bad reviews came from at all.  I didn't see any issues.  It was sexy and I loved me some Will!  Awesome book!  Check it out!

Rough Ryder Sneak Peak!

The sound of the splash caused Trinket to turn and look out over side of the boat.  The water was calmly splashing the side of the boat as it sat offshore.  The waves soothingly, making their way to the beach before returning out to sea.  There was nothing to be seen.  If ever there was a place for peace, this was it.
Rubbing her arms she made her way back to her chair and pulled her light shawl back around her shoulders. The night air blowing off the water was definitely getting cooler.  It wouldn’t be long and she would have to make her way back in.  Relaxing back in her reclining chair, she closed her eyes and breathed in the cool air.
She had been coming out here for the past month.  The only time she didn’t feel like screaming her head off was when she was on the water.  Away from all the well-meaning people.  She could only take so many of their pitiful looks.  Could only choke down so many casseroles.  She was afraid if she didn’t stay away; someone would be wearing one of the numerous green bean or chicken pans.
Why did it happen to me? Why did it happen at all?
Pulling her legs up in the chair, she wrapped her arms around her knees and rocked herself. The silent tears ran down her face as she watched the sun finish making its way down to meet the waters’ edge.  The sky had no right to have such beautiful colors streaking across it, while she was full of dark insignia, clear through to her soul.
There it was again, the splash that always seemed to signal it was time to go in.  Time to return to the lonely cottage.  The little cottage where the start of a wonderful life had been.  Where there was supposed to be bonfires in the summer and Christmas lights in the winter.  Where the sound of laughter was so frequent it was embedded in the walls.  Walls, where pictures of the beautiful little family hung.
It was not such a cheery place to go to now.  She dreaded walking up the path now.  Opening the door of the cool dark home.  The silence was unbearable at times.  There was no one there to greet her, no one for her to tuck into bed at night and give a little kiss too before singing to sleep.  No one for her to curl up to in front of a roaring fire.
Making her way over the side of the boat, she clamored down and waded to the sand covered beach.  As always, she turned back to look one last time out across the water.  Her mind had stopped seeing, the little hand popping out of the water for her, but she couldn’t stop herself from looking.
She stood there for what seemed like forever before finishing the walk that would take her back to her suffering.  Back into what once was the home of her dreams.
After pulling on her warm flannel pajamas, and drinking a cup of tea she climbed onto her side of the queen size bed, tucking the pillows from the other side against her, she lay back and waited.  Waited for the endless night to pass and prayed for a dreamless night.
*****
Laughter filled the air as the little girl ran down the beach to meet her father.  Her long blonde hair flowing out in the wind behind her.  Her cheeks pink from spending the morning outside waiting and watching the sky.  She knew Daddy was coming home today and she wanted to be the first one to see him.
Strolling behind her, the beautiful young woman laughed with her.  She had long ago given up trying to keep up with her daughter, once she set eyes on the little two seater plane that was bringing Daddy home.  It seemed like from the time she could walk she was always running for her daddy.
He always made it look easy, landing the plane on the water and coasting it to the beach.  Jumping out of the cockpit he reached in and grabbed his overnight bag, then with the other arm pulled the apple of his eye up and carried her to meet the love of his life.
Her heart always jumped in her throat whenever she saw him.  His masculine good looks and boyish charm had claimed her love five years ago.  She could hear his laughter mixing with their daughters, as she tried to con him into telling her what present he had brought home for her this time.
As always before they made it to the door of their home Mandy was playing with her new toys.  Her parents, smiling at her as she ran off to her room to show her new treasures to her dolls.
“If I didn’t know better I would think that you brought that home for her to bribe her into leaving us alone for five minutes.” She giggled as he pulled her towards him. Enveloping her with his arms.
“And sometimes I would think You, were right.” He smiled as his mouth closed in on hers.  Claiming her lips in a breathtaking kiss that made the pit of her stomach tighten.  Turning them, he pressed her up against the wall.  Imprinting her body with his.  Making his way down her neck nibbling as he went .
Suddenly the sound of little giggles was breaking them apart as two little arms pried her way in between them.
“Daddy why do you always have to kiss mommy for so long?” Grabbing each of their hands she pulled them into the living room and pushed them down on the couch.  Climbing up onto his lap she snuggled her head into his chest. “ You are going to stay a long time now.  Right?”
“I’m going to stay as long as I can.  What kind of plans do we have for tonight?”  Avoiding her questions seemed to be getting harder and harder as she got older.  Rubbing her hair he looked over her head and gave a half-hearted smile to the woman he loved.
“Mandy, why don’t you show your father the new birds’ nest we found.  I’ll get some supper together.”  Trinket new by the look on his face; he wasn’t going to be staying long and she wanted to be able to enjoy every second of it.  She watched out the window as the two people, she loved more than life itself, stood admiring the three unhatched birds’ eggs.
After preparing a quick supper of sandwiches and chips with sweet tea to wash it down, they all sat down together.
Holding hands around the table while Mandy said grace, Trinket knew her life could never get any better than it was at this moment.  She watched as Mandy yawned from the tiring day.  Trinket had intended on an early night, and had made sure that Mandy had stayed busy so when night came, it would be easy getting her to sleep.
After tucking Mandy into bed for the second time they cuddled together on the couch.   Each knowing how the other felt and each knowing that this was to be a short visit.  But soon they would be able to spend all their time together.
Sam curled his fingers through hers, “You know this is not going to be forever. Right?  It won’t be much longer and these trips will be finished.  Brett is going to be taking them back on as soon as his leg heals.”
“I know.  I just don’t understand why it had to be you.  There are two other pilots.” She knew she was being unreasonable.  One of the pilots’ wife was fixing to have a baby and the others mother was very ill. Brett normally took this route but he had an accident and broke his leg.
Leaning over her, he placed a hand on either side of her head.  “I think I can make you feel better. How about if I give you something to remember me by?”  Moving his mouth over hers softly, he knew just what she needed and he would see to it she got it.
Closing her eyes as she felt his lips against her lashes she gasped.  He could always make her feel better.  And she was sure she would remember this night  in the days to come. Giggling and grabbing his hand she pulled him off the couch and they ran down the hall together. Falling into their bed.

Trinket woke with a start.  Rubbing her head from yet another migraine she had a tendency to get when she dreamed of what used to be.  Standing she made her way to the bathroom, reaching for the bottle of Fiorcet the doctor had given her.  After downing a pill, she wet a wash cloth.  She returned to her bed and lay the wash cloth over her eyes.  Knowing that when the medicine kicked in, she would be out.
*****
“Noooooo!  Help them you have to help them.  You have to keep looking for them.  You haven’t found them. They are out there waiting for you to come get them.  Maybe they are floating around on some driftwood wondering why no one is looking for them.”  She turned screaming looking from one set of saddened eyes to the next. “You can’t just give up!  You have to find them, you have too.” Collapsing to the floor Trinket continued sobbing and pounding her fist into the floor.
*****
Suddenly she sat up in the bed, drenched with her own sweat and her eyes swollen from crying.  Brushing her tousled hair from her eyes she looked around.  As always he wasn’t there.  She was alone.  The only sound was from the cuckoo clock Sam had bought her on their honeymoon.  So long ago.  She grabbed his pillow and curled up in the bed to spend the rest of the night reliving the most horrible night of her life.
Mandy begged and begged Sam to take her for a ride before he had to leave.  Of course he gave in.  He was the best pilot around.  The weather was good.  What would be the harm?
Fastening her seatbelt around her, Trinket could remember those big beautiful blue eyes smiling up at her.  So full of life and excitement.  Kissing her daughter on the head she backed away from the plane.
Sam powered up the plane and they coasted out till they were far enough that he took off. Slowly at first.  He knew there would be hell to pay if Trinket thought he was being irresponsible with her pride and joy on board.  They circled around a few times waving at Trinket when they got close enough.  Then with a big smile on his face he pointed up and took off.  Trinket stood there holding her breath. “I’m gonna kill him as soon as he lands that plane safely.”  She smiled because she knew they were laughing at her.  They were so much alike.
Suddenly she heard it.  The loud roar of the plane as it began its decent way to fast.  She knew something was wrong.  She froze as she stared out across the water.  Watching silently as her whole life ended right in front of her.
Then it was over. In a flash. The coast guard had searched for days.  Friends and family was with her through it all.  But she really just wanted them to go away.  To leave her alone. To leave her with her memories.
Now  she spent her days out on the water.  Hoping that somehow she would find them.  Deep down she knew that was never going to happen but she couldn’t give up hope.  It was all she had left and no one could take it from her.

As soon as the clock struck Six a.m. she was out of bed.  She made the bed, turned on the coffee and jumped in the shower. By six thirty she was walking down the path with a thermos of coffee in one hand and a good book to read in the other.
Climbing on board the boat she settled into her lounge chair, to watch the sun come up.  She felt closer to them on the water.  Sometimes she thought she could hear their laughter whenever a plane would fly over.
The occasional splash of water always made her smile.  Maybe it was them saying good morning to her.
She smiled as she picked up her book.  Why did she choose this one?  She didn’t really like westerns. That was more Sam’s style.  He used to tease her about all her romance books.  Oh well maybe it was time to try something new.  Turning the first page she soon found herself engrossed in it.
“Cowboys and horses?  Who would of thought  I would get wrapped up in that”  She smiled to herself.  Rising from her chair she realized she had been sitting there so long every bone in her body was stiff and sore.
It wasn’t long and five chapters later, she laid the book down giving her eyes a rest.  The light breeze blew against her skin.  It was times like this that she imagined the touch of the wind, was Sam’s caress.  She closed her eyes, soaking in his imagined touch.
*****
“Trinket, what are you doing?”  Sam’s voice echoed around her.
      “Taking a nap.”  She whispered.
“No, Trinket, what are you doing?”  His voice turned stern.
She opened her eyes to find Sam standing in front of her.  “Enjoying the warm breeze.”
“Trinket, you were never good at lying to me.  You have to move on honey.  Your killing yourself.  Look at you.  You have dark circles under your eyes.”
She felt anger hit her.  “No, I didn’t kill anyone.  You killed you and Mandy!  You should have taken me with you damn it.  You wanna know why I have dark circles around my eyes, it’s because I can’t sleep.  You want to know why, because you and that damn plane took my life away from me and left me here to suffer.”
She watched as a sadness washed over his face.  “I didn’t know.  If I had known I wouldn’t have taken her.  I swear.”
“Yeah, well think about that before you try to tell me what I’m doing to myself.”  She felt the tears trying to swell from her eyes.
“There is nothing we can do.  What is done is done.  Now, you need to wipe your face and pull yourself together.  Someone has been patiently waiting to see you.”
She felt her body tense.  Quickly her hands came to her eyes, wiping away evidence of her upset.
“Mommy!  I missed you.”  She looked up to her baby, her Mandy running towards her.  Her feet kissing the top of the water as she made her way across it.  Trinket stood.  She couldn’t believe her eyes.  It had been so long.  Quickly she wrapped her arms around Mandy, pulling her up and into her chest.
“Oh baby I have missed you.”  She felt the tears falling uncontrollably now and there was nothing she could do to stop them.
“Why are you crying Mommy?  You are supposed to be happy.  I didn’t mean to make you sad again.”
“I’m not sad honey, Mommy is very happy right now.”
Mandy pulled her head from Trinket’s shoulder.  She looked into her eyes, “Your sad all the time Mommy.  I see you cry always.”
“What do you mean, you see me cry?”
“Daddy said we can’t go to our new home until you stop crying.  We watch you sometimes.”
     “You’ve been watching me.”
“Yep.  When you come out here to talk to us, we hear you.  We hear you when you lay in bed to.”
“Mandy, why don’t you go play for a while, I need to talk to Mommy.”
Mandy crawled down out of her arms and ran back to shore.  Trinket watched as Mandy ran along, kicking the sand with her toes.  The little blue dress she had worn that day, flapping in the wind.
“You have to move on Trinket.  Sell this place, go somewhere and be the Trinket that we both know and love.”
She didn’t take her eyes away from Mandy.  “That’s easier said than done.”
“Ok, do you want us to keep floating around out here?  I can’t move on, we can’t move on, until we know you are happy.”
“I will never be happy again.”
“Then Mandy and I will be stuck here forever.”
“Is that such a bad thing?  At least here we are together again.”
“Only when you dream.  Do this for me.  Do this for us.  Let go.”  His voice fell to a whisper.  She watched as Mandy quit playing looking back at her, she smiled.  Her little hand began waving goodbye in the air.  Trinket stood quickly, diving into the water.  She swam as fast as she could back to shore, but slowly Mandy disappeared.  That smiling face was no longer there.
                                                                                  *****
Trinket woke with a start, tumbling over into the water.  She broke the surface with a gasp.  She felt a knot in her chest.  She lay back in the warmth of the water and began floating.  She didn’t care where to.  She didn’t need anything but her family back.
Her family that was stuck or so he had said.  It was then in that moment, that she made up her mind.

Chapter One
“Thirty minutes?  Why would it give us a head start?”  She turned to face Conner and Ryan.  “I don’t understand.”
“It’s playing with us.  It’s a game.  Take us out first and the rest of mankind will be easy.”  Moving around Conner began gathering together everything that could be stuffed into a military style backpack, before tossing one to each of them.  “Gather as much survival equipment as you can.  Extra MRE’s are buried in the various hiding places we showed you.  But you still need to have some with you in case we get separated.”
They moved through the cave quickly and efficiently.  Gathering weapons, matches, flashlights, extra batteries and radios in case they aren’t able to meet at predetermined points in time.
Meeting and standing for a moment at the entrance they looked at each other one last time; before taking off at a quick speed, careful not to leave any evidence of which direction they went.  Chance kept up without any problem as they were all still in their human form.
Trees and underbrush flew by as they continued on their hunt. She could hear the sounds of the rabbits and squirrels scurrying out of the way.  It might of given them thirty minutes, but they sure as hell were not given it a chance to catch them off guard again.
Knowing that the entity could change its form was going to make it hard for them.  It almost seemed to know how to get in their heads.  How to gain their trust.  Danger was everywhere.  No one could be trusted.  Not even each other.
The moon was high in the sky when they finally stopped for the night.  Keira was exhausted, the brief stop they had made at noon to eat seemed like days ago.  There was no way she could have kept up with them before her training had begun.  Sure, she was irritated at the time, because they had almost mocked her.  Treated her like a child.  She didn’t need training- training, because she could do anything she wanted with her mind.  Wasn’t that the entire point of her being here to start with?
“Keira, there is a stream just a short walk from here, could you take the canteens down for a refill while I set up camp?  Ryan is going to scout the surrounding area to make sure we haven’t been followed.”
“Wait.  I don’t get it.  I thought we were going to find the entity.  Shouldn’t we want the entity to be following us?”
“No.  It’s going to be dark soon; I for one don’t want to fight it in the dark.”  He turned quickly away from her.  She took his almost abrupt change in body language as the conversation was over.
Conner began gathering piles of brush and leaves to make their makeshift beds a little softer.  Thankfully it was a clear night so they would sleep under the stars and not have to worry about finding shelter.
Nodding her head, she gathered up the canteens and headed down to the stream.   The slower pace was just what she needed to calm her nerves anyways.  She wasn’t exactly happy with the feeling she was getting from the silent hint of them running, but she could stand the quiet, alone time.   Chance as always, by her side.
Connor began thinking about all the possibilities of what  was to come.  The possibilities of losing her.  His mate.  He knew that at times he wasn’t clear with what he wanted to say to her.  It was hard for him to admit his feelings.  He wondered and kept waiting for her to tell him she no longer wanted to be with him.
He had a fear of living a life like Ryan’s.  He watched Ryan’s marriage to Ali, fall apart.  Connor had envied them for their relationship.  He never knew that behind closed doors the two of them had issues.  He watched Ryan mope around, hurting for over a year before he began acting somewhat normal again.  He didn’t want to see that, much less experience for himself.  His only way of coping with it was by keeping the brutal honesty of his feelings inside him.
Reaching the stream she stood on the bank for a moment just to take in the beautiful scenery before her.   The moon put out just enough light for her to be able to see the cool water trickling over the rocks by the bank, the little crawfish that ducked under the rocks, then peeking out before continuing their journey across the stream.   She could see the little circles of bubbles in the middle of the creek, where the fish made their presence known.  She almost felt sorry for them, knowing that later some of them would be her supper.
After she filled the canteens she leaned back on her heels.   She gasped softly when looking across the stream, eyeing a beautiful brown and white doe.   It looked up for a moment then continued to eat from the bushes, greener at the edge of the water.  She wished she had the freedom the doe had.  Nothing to worry about.  Nothing pushing her to do this or do that.  No fear.
Boy what I wouldn’t give to be able to jump in right now and wipe the days grime off me.  I can smell the stench on myself.   Looking around, she was so tempted to just strip off and dive in.  Surely it is safe here. That lovely doe would not just be standing there.  Right?  Feeling eyes on her, she looked to her side and saw Chance looking at her as if to tell her it was not a good idea.  “What can happen?  You’re here and no one else is around.   And we have not seen any sign of evil.”  Chance just looked at her and with a shake of his head he laid down and placed his head on his paws, as if he knew this wouldn’t end well.
After a few minutes of arguing with herself, her vanity won out and before she had time to change her mind she stripped her clothes and dove in.
The feeling of the cool water washing over her seemed to revive her.  Swimming out to the middle she splashed her face and ducked her hair under the water scrubbing at her head till it felt clean again.   After swimming for a while she turned to her back and floated.
Just lying there looking up at the sky, letting the water wash her fears away felt good.  She closed her eyes and as always her mind began to drift to Conner and the last time he had spanked her.  Then her imagination went wild as she began to imagine what else she longed for him to do to her.
                                                                           ****
“Keira, you have been a naughty girl.  Naughty girls get punished.”  His hand came down on her ass as she fought to keep counting.
“Fifteen, Sir.”  The fire on her bottom was nothing compared to the fire growing inside of her.
“Ryan, take over.  See if you can get her to make some noise.”
“Keira, who is in control of your body now?”
     “You are.”
“I am what?”  The sting of something on her bottom, biting into her flesh sent a further rush of fluid straight to her loins.  She could feel the warm gush sliding down her legs.  She chewed on her bottom lip, keeping her scream at bay.
“You are in control of my body, Master Ryan.”
“I told you, she doesn’t scream.”  Connor chuckled.
“Let’s see if this will help.”  She grew nervous at both men, when they erupted into laughter.  Her hands were being pulled behind her back, the feel of leather binding her wrists together was like the strike of the match, getting ready to ignite her.
With a violent pull, she stood being led.  Within seconds, her arms were unbound then rebound to a tree.  The rough bark almost bit into her nipples.  She found herself moving against the wood, taking the tender bites.
“Keira, don’t move.”  Ryan spoke.  “What are your words?”
     “Red, yellow, and definitely green.”
“Good girl.”  The bite against her thighs tempted a scream from her.  The tender caress from his fingers over the burning skin forced a welcomed moan.  “That’s my girl.”
Again her skin felt the objects viscous bite.  Across her thighs, her ass, her lower back, then between her shoulder blades.  Her body began to crave each bite.  Long for it.  Want more of it.
The tickle of lips against her neck, then his whisper.  “You will scream before I am done.  Connor has a soft spot for you.  Mine however is different.”
Bite after bite threatened to break her silence and did.  She felt herself falling over the edge.  The next bite was aimed directly for her clit, pushing her over the ecstasy cliff; she thankfully fell from as she screamed.  Releasing all of the built up emotions.
…..
Suddenly she felt a pull at her feet and then darkness as she was pulled under the water by an unseen force. “Chance, go get Conner and Ryan! Hurry!”  She sure hoped this telepathic stuff was working now.  It always worked in practice but now with her actually being under attack she had her doubts.
Struggling to swim to the surface, she could feel panic setting in.  Blackness overcoming her as she succumbed to the lack of oxygen.   Looking around, all she could see was the beautiful fields of wildflowers, the heat from the sun shining down on her as she ran carefree.
“Keira, come with me baby girl, finally we can be a family again.”  She heard her mothers’ voice calling to her.  She turned, looking for her.   The scenery was changing on its own.  It was growing darker again.
“Momma, where are you?  I don’t see you.   Help me Momma.”  She cried out to her.   She felt her way through the fog that surrounded her.  There was a little light that seemed to go in and out.  “Momma is that you?”
“Come to me Keira, you belong with me.”
The light was fading, getting further away.  “Hurry, Keira! Come with me.  Hurry before it is too late.”
“I’m trying Momma, it is getting so hard I can’t see you.”  Stretching her hand out she reached for the hand she could make out in the distance.
Struggling to fight the voice calling to her, franticly she looked around, searching for her mother.   Turning in circles she cried out, “Don’t leave me Mommma!”
“Keira wake up!  Damn it you are not gonna die on me!  You are not gonna let it win!”
“Nooooo leave me alone!”  Keira screamed in her head as she suddenly choked and water gushed from her mouth.   Turning her to her side, Conner felt such a feeling of relief, as he held her as she vomited what seemed to be half the creek.
Rolling her over to her back he wiped her face before gathering her into his arms.   Lifting her, he carried her further up the bank and laid her down on the soft moss.  Holding her head in his lap, he rocked her as feelings unknown to him washed over him. Feelings he was not ready to feel.  This was not the time.   Silent tears slid down his cheek as he tried to pull himself together.   Holding her close he could feel her breathing return to normal.
He glanced to the silent hero at his side, “Thank you Chance, this would have been so different right now if you hadn’t come to get me.”  Chance looked into Conner’s eyes as if to say you’re welcome, and then resumed his guard stance.
Pulling himself together, Conner felt anger coming over him.   Anger because he could have lost her in the blink of an eye.  Anger because she was so irresponsible!   Anger because all of mankind could have been changed.
Struggling to sit up, Keira could only blame herself.  She knew she should not have thought only of herself, of how good the water looked.  She knew the danger was always there.   Turning to look at Conner she braced herself for the verbal dressing down she was sure to come.   And she knew it wouldn’t be long before he did.  Maybe I should have specified for Ryan to come help.
“What were you thinking?  Swimming?  Really? This is not the time for you to take a swim!  If Chance hadn’t returned to the campsite without you when he did, it might have been too late.  You have got to stop being so careless.  There is more at stake than what you want.”
As soon as Chance had showed up at camp, he went running straight to Conner almost knocking him down in his rush.  Quickly placing his hand on Conner, he felt as well as saw the danger she was in.  Turning and running from camp he fought his fear down.  Following Chance  down the path she had taken, he cursed himself.  He should have known things were going to smooth.
